On June 16, Singapore International Water Week 2026 (SIWW 2026) grandly kicked off at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre. As one of the world’s most influential flagship events in the water industry, this edition has gathered government delegates, industry leaders, researchers and industrial practitioners from across the globe. Participants discussed shared challenges including water scarcity, climate change and ageing pipeline networks, and conducted in-depth exchanges on cutting-edge topics such as sustainable water utilization, energy conservation, carbon reduction and ecological restoration. Meanwhile, a large-scale water expo and over 80 professional sub-forums showcased innovative achievements and development trends of the global water sector in an all-round way.
展会开幕当天，新加坡副总理甘金勇发表主旨演讲，详细解读新加坡“四水共济”可持续水务体系，呼吁全球携手合作应对各类水危机，并大力推动水资源正向平衡（Water Positive）理念落地。
现场还揭晓了2026年李光耀水奖，美国密歇根州立大学琼・布雷・罗斯教授凭借创立定量微生物风险评估（QMRA）体系斩获该奖项，这套技术现已被世界卫生组织、美国环保署、新加坡公用事业局等权威机构广泛应用。此外，新加坡永续发展与环境部长傅海燕主持部长论坛，中国水利部副部长祖雷鸣出席并发言，IPCC、欧盟水务总司、国际水协（IWA）等多家国际机构代表也先后分享前沿观点。
At the opening ceremony, Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong delivered a keynote speech. He elaborated on Singapore’s renowned Four Taps sustainable water strategy and called for global collaboration to tackle worldwide water crises, while advancing the implementation of the Water Positive concept.
The Lee Kuan Yew Water Prize 2026 was also presented to Professor Joan Bray Rose from Michigan State University. She was honored for developing the Quantitative Microbial Risk Assessment (QMRA) framework, a methodology now widely adopted by the World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) and Public Utilities Board (PUB) of Singapore. Later, Grace Fu, Minister for Sustainability and the Environment of Singapore, chaired the Ministerial Forum, where Zu Leiming, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Water Resources of China, delivered a speech. Representatives from the IPCC, European Commission Directorate-General for Water, International Water Association (IWA) and other international organizations also shared insightful perspectives.

Taking this prestigious global platform, Superfoss and Kingfoss exhibited jointly with Snano, a pioneer in ceramic membrane technology, at Booth L1-F08. Three flagship technologies were fully displayed: Superfoss high-pressure pump array, Kingfoss energy recovery system and Snano ceramic-based composite membrane. Together, they form an integrated water treatment solution covering power supply, energy recovery and advanced membrane treatment. Tailored for seawater desalination, industrial water treatment and water recycling, the combined technologies effectively address key industrial pain points such as excessive energy consumption and rigorous water purification requirements.
